Should the Data Commissioner report to a Board?

Dear Listers,

The parliamentary committee that investigated the recent Worldcoin saga
made several recommendations that, among others, are stated on page 115,
Section 6(d), as follows:

Amend the Data Protection Act, 2019 to provide for a Board where the Office
of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) reports to or accounts to on its
daily operations.

  1. Hi David,
    Way to go.
The confusion around worldcoin saga necessitated creation of the office to avoid future occurrences of the same.
    Kind Regards,
    Paul
