Twitter Is Helping To Build An Alternative To Twitter

Listers!

If you have noticed or just been passing by, the biggest question for tech
companies from the public is how much power can they wield when we all know
that \’internet is a right\’. Which company determines who to suspend, or
ban? What is the threshold for that to happen? Does it mean many users have
been breaching the terms and conditions?

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey says his company is exploring the development of a
decentralized standard for social media. He revealed the initiative, dubbed
@bluesky.

“We are trying to do our part by funding an initiative around an open
decentralized standard for social media,” Dorsey said “Our goal is to be a
client of that standard for the public conversation layer of the internet.
We call it #bluesky.” Here is the entire thread
