Tweet from DCI KENYA (@DCI_Kenya)

I have a similar question on the countless posts by the DCI\’s official twitter handle on persons alleged to have commintted certain offences. On the one part we have the presumption of innocence until one is proven guilty and on the other there is the need to keep the public informed. The posts are likely to have a negative impact on a persons reputation. what is the DCI\’s policy on such? is there a protocol for removal of the post if I am found not to be guilty by a court of law? No court in Kenya has had the opportunity to determine on citizen\’s \’right to be forgotten\’ as other jurisdictions have.
