Set A Reminder to Join Us to Our #KICTANetSpaces

Our *#KICTANetSpaces* will be held on December 3, 2000 at 8-9pm EAT to mark
the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2022.

The theme of this year is “Transformative solutions for inclusive
development: the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable
world.”

The day was proclaimed in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly
resolution 47/3. The day aims to promote an understanding of disability
issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of
persons with disabilities.

This year, the theme has been broken down into three:

1. Innovation for disability-inclusive development in employment – SDG 8
2. Innovation for disability-inclusive development in reducing
inequality – SDG 10
3. Innovation for disability-inclusive growth: sport as an exemplar case.
