#KeIGF2024: Events to attend June 26, 2024

*A. Regional Roundtable on Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in
Africa*

KICTAnet in partnership with Paradigm Initiative will convene a Regional
Roundtable on Internet Fragmentation and Human Rights in Africa that will
be attended by various stakeholders.

This roundtable aims to identify concrete risks to Internet fragmentation,
focusing on elements that are being impacted by technical standards-setting
bodies, as well as at the policy layer within the specific regional context.

Objectives of this roundtable are to:

✅ Advance awareness and a common understanding of Internet fragmentation
threats in Africa

✅Identify opportunities to counter them

✅Stakeholder discussions on countering Internet fragmentation
