Don’t Miss the #KeIGF2024: Shaping Kenya’s Digital Future

This session aimed to identify ways to strengthen and support the open,
transparent, inclusive and bottom-up governance process related to the use
and evolution of the Internet, and provide recommendations to achieve the
vision of achieving the Internet We Want. Our industry experts shared
insights on strengthening Internet governance. Key among them is the
importance of governance and regulation in the internet industry,
emphasizing the need for inclusive processes and addressing concerns across
the community. They highlighted the significance of quality and also
stressed the need to work down passivity. Both agreed on the importance of
balancing governance and innovation to ensure a healthy Internet
