Digital Health & e-Health Bills 2023

There are two interesting health bills at the National Assembly and the
Senate:

1. Digital Health Bill, 2023

– This seeks to provide for the establishment of the Digital Health Agency;
to provide a framework for the provision of digital health services; and to
establish a comprehensive integrated digital health information system.
2. e-Health Bill, 2023

– This seeks to provide a framework for the provision of Telemedicine; M
-health; Health Tourism; licencing of health e-waste undertakings; and the
roles of the national and county governments.
