day dedicated to promoting fairness, equality, and human rights. This
year’s theme, “*Strengthening a Just Transition for a Sustainable Future*,”
emphasises the need for inclusive policies that address systemic
inequalities while fostering sustainable development in the face of global
challenges like climate change and economic transitions
Social justice isn’t just about addressing poverty, unemployment, and
inequality but also about ensuring human rights are protected in an
increasingly digital world. Technology has transformed how we communicate,
work, and advocate for justice. However, it has also introduced new
challenges for actors working to advance human rights.
The Tatua Digital Resilience Centre is committed to empowering SJOs in East
Africa by equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate
these challenges effectively. As we reflect on the significance of the
