Among very many other dignitaries, we are pleased to inform you that the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression and Opinion is attending the 2024 IDEI global conference<www.unesco.org/en/articles/international-day-end-impunity-crimes-against-journalists-2024>, taking place at the AU HQ 6-7 November 2024.

* She will be holding a special consultation with a few delegates, on a thematic report to the Human Rights Council on freedom of expression and elections in the digital age.
